Texas congressman seeks to undo electric vehicle tax credit

A move by a Texas congressman to undo an Obama-era tax credit for buyers of electric vehicles is being applauded by one of three officials elected to regulate the Lone Star State's oil and gas industry. U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee, has included a proposal to eliminate the electric vehicle tax credit in the initial draft of the Republican-led tax reform plan.
