VIA Metropolitan Transit is making good on a promise to switch over its entire bus fleet to compressed natural gas over the next five to six years. The San Antonio-based public transit agency's board of the trustees met on Tuesday and approved VIA's $219.9 million budget for fiscal year 2017.
